I love the Springtime. The sun starts to come out, flowers bloom, and Ben and Jerry’s rolls out new ice cream flavors. This year they have five new flavors for us to enjoy that are now available in grocery stores.
Coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz Buzz, is the first new concoction. It features Coffee Ice Cream with Espresso Bean Fudge Chunks. Sounds pretty good if you enjoy coffee ice cream.
Next up is Chocolate Peppermint Crunch. This new flavor is Chocolate Ice Cream with Peppermint and Fudge Swirls and Mint Chocolate Cookie Balls. I’m not a big fan of mint and chocolate together but it sounds like it might work.
In addition to the new ice cream there is some new Greek Yogurt. Ben and Jerry’s began making it last year and it has done very well for them. The first new Yogurt is Liz Lemon, named after Tina Fey’s 30 Rock character. It is a Lemon Greek Frozen Yogurt with a Blueberry Lavender Swirl. Lemon ice cream? Ehhh.. I’m not sure about that.
Pineapple Passionfruit is the next new flavor. It is a Pineapple Greek Frozen Yogurt with Chunks of Pineapple and a Passionfruit Swirl. This sounds much better than Liz Lemon.
The last new flavor is Vanilla Honey Caramel. This falvor is a Vanilla Greek Frozen Yogurt with a Honey Caramel Swirl in the middle. This one actually sounds like the best one of the bunch. But there is only one way to find out which one is the best. You have to try them all.
Oh yeah, there is a new flavor in the Scoop Shops. Candy Bar Pie is the latest offering and it has Peanut Butter Ice Cream with Fudge Flakes, Chocolate Nougat & Sweet & Salty Pretzel Swirls. This one might not be too bad.
