Miss Utah, Marissa Powell may have botched any shot she had at becoming Miss America last night in Las Vegas when asked about pay inequality for women in the United States. Powell couldn’t get her bearings and bumbled her way through it and took 30 seconds to say two sentences.

“I think we can relate this back to education and how we are continuing to try to strive to … Figure out how to create jobs right now. That is the biggest problem. I think especially the men are seen as the leaders of this, so we need to figure out how to create education better so we can solve this problem.”

But don’t feel too bad for the pretty 21 year old from Utah there are rumors that Playboy wants to feature her. But whether or not she will accept it another story. Miss Powell is a pretty wholesome girl so it’s doubtful she would do a sex tape or take off her clothes for money. It’s likely she will appear on some talk shows like Ellen to talk about her gaffe in front of millions of people and then wind up getting some more work in television or commercials.

Powell has appeared on ABC’s “What Would You Do?” that airs on Friday nights. She also sings in a group that performs around Salt Lake City.

Miss Utah was voted ‘Most Photogenic” and even came in as the fourth runner up to the crown despite her response to the question about pay inequality. Miss Connecticut Erin Brady wound up winning the the pageant.

Former #1 UFC welterweight contender Jon Fitch has been popping off about UFC pay leading up to his fight with Josh Burkman at World Series of Fighting 3. It seems all the hype was on Fitch and how he had been screwed over by the UFC. Burkman however, made it all about him choking out Fitch early in the first round. He didn’t just choke him out, he put him to sleep and stood up and rolled Fitch over before the ref stopped the bout. Fitch has now lost three out of his last four and will need to figure out where to go from here.

The new Kanye West album ‘Yeezus’ has leaked online and now fans all over the world have begun illegally downloading the CD that fans have been waiting patiently for. Fans got a sneak peek last month when the rapper performed on Saturday Night Live. Daft Punk worked with Kanye on several tracks and it definitely has a industrial rock feel to it.

“New Slaves” and “Black Skinhead” have already been leaked in the past few months and have received rave reviews and the rest of the album is just as good. The CD isn’t available in stores until next week but if you know where to look you can find it online.

If you don’t want to wait for it you can find it online on many of the torrent sites as long as you have a Bit torrent client like utorrent. It is illegal to pirate music and you do so at your own peril. But if you want to contribute to the Kim Kardashian baby momma fund it will be on iTunes and in stores next week.

A lot of people are complaining about the new Superman movie, Man of Steel saying it’s too long. Some are saying that they are trying too hard to make him and the film more like the recent Batman movies with Christian Bale that have been successful in the past few years. And the cost of going to a theater nowadays is ridiculous. To spend almost 30 bucks to take your girl to the movie and then drop another 20 bucks on popcorn and a coke a lot of people are simply waiting for it to come out on Redbox, Netflix, or Ondemand.

While the studio has yet to announce a date for it to be released on DVD or Bluray. It’s almost a certainty that Man of Steel will be released around Christmas time in late November or early December to capitalize on all the crazy people out shopping for their kids who are fans of the film. Just about every blockbuster does the same thing. Batman, The Avengers, Total Recall, Magic Mike, and Ted all came out last summer but found their way to DVD late in the year to capitalize on Black Friday and Christmas shoppers. I’m sure Walmart will have the best deals on the DVD since they were an exclusive partner for the movie.

But if you can’t wait a few months and have the cash go ahead and see it in the theaters. Don’t forget to save your money and get some popcorn.

Johnny Manziel is the new Tim Tebow. It’s ironic he bashes him as a passer since their styles are very much the same. Tebow led the Broncos to the playoffs a few years ago but then languished in New York behind a bad Mark Sanchez until he was released by the club. Now he is getting another shot with the Patriots and will try to earn a spot on the club as a third string QB or some other position that Coach Bilicheck finds for him.

Manziel will try to continue where he left off last year after defeating Alabama on the road and then crushing Oklahoma in their bowl game.

Former Teen Mom star turned porn star Farrah Abraham has been trying to cozy up yo Charlie Sheen lately. TMZ released some texts from Abraham and Sheen that shows the two are trying to get together to discuss her budding acting career or maybe more. Sheen is an old man and Miss Abraham is in her early 20s so you know she is just trying to get something out of the former 2 1/2 men star. But Sheen likes them young and has a thing for porn starlets as he dated former porn actress Bree Olson in the past. It will be interesting to see if the couple wind up dating or if Farrah even lands a part on his FX show ‘Anger Management.’ She just redid her boobs and went from a C all the way up to a D cup.

Right now to the United States government Edward Snowden is public enemy #1. After he came forward to admit he leaked documents to the press about the government’s illegal spying on citizens it appears Snowden is trying to get political asylum in Hong Kong. But former presidential candidate Ron Paul thinks he could be a victim of a drone strike.

According to Paul;

“I’m worried about somebody in our government might kill him with a cruise missile or a drone missile. I mean we live in a bad time where American citizens don’t even have rights and that they can be killed, but the gentlemen is trying to tell the truth about what’s going on. It’s a shame that we are in an age where people who tell the truth about what the government is doing gets into trouble.”

Paul and his son have been outspoken about drones and what the President can and cannot do with them. And with Snowden leaking U.S. secrets he could be the next in line for a strike.

Nintendo is rolling out the big guns to compete with Sony and Microsoft later this year. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y will come out in October for the Pokémon fans who are looking for the next adventure. October 12th fans will be able to get ahold of the games.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze will pit Donkey Kong against Vikings who have taken over his world and he must vanquish them to win the game.

Bayonetta 2 will be out early next year for the Wii U.

Super Mario 3D World will be out in December just in time for Christmas. Another Mario game, Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U will be out next Spring and it looks pretty cool.

Rand Paul has picked up where his father has left off on protecting civil liberties and is vowing to challenge the National Security Agency’s program that spies on Americans all the way to the Supreme Court. The Kentucky Senator appeared on Fox New Sunday this morning and told Chris Wallace about his intentions.

“I’m going to be seeing if I can challenge this at the Supreme Court level. I’m going to be asking all the internet providers and all of the phone companies: Ask your customers to join me in a class action lawsuit. If we get 10 million Americans saying we don’t want our phone records looked at, then maybe someone will wake up and something will change in Washington.”

Paul has become a rock star in the GOP and will likely run for President in 2016 when Obama will be leaving office. Paul’s father Ron Paul ran unsuccessfully in 2008 and 2012 when he lose to John McCain and Mitt Romney who both lost to Obama.
