Titans want Robert Nkemdiche in 2016 NFL Draft

One of the top prospects in the NFL draft is Robert Nkemdiche from Ole Miss. The big defensive end has dominated the SEC this year and is all but a lock to come out this year early. Nkemdiche is a semifinalist for the both the Bednarik and Lombardi Awards and is considered one of the top players in the nation. Many mock drafts have Nkemdiche in the top of the draft going anywhere from #1 to #8.

One team that has interest in Nkemdiche is the Tennessee Titans. We talked to someone who works with the team earlier in the week and Nkemdiche is the guy that the team is focusing on and would like to bring to Nashville.

The draft order won’t be set until the end of the season but the Titans should have a high draft pick. Right now with only three wins Tennessee would likely get a top 5 pick. Nkemdiche could be there as long as the Titans don’t win too many more games. Before their win last week Tennessee was sitting the top spot but by beating the Jaguars the Browns are now looking at the number one pick as long as they lose out.

Ole Miss has three players that will likely go in the first round; receiver Laquon Treadwell, offensive lineman Laremy Tunsil, and Nkemdiche. Some mock drafts all three going in the top ten.

Nkemdiche is going to go high and it doesn’t matter if the Titans want him, they just have to be somewhere around the top spot if they are going to land him.
